It's been a month... so much to update. 7-10-23

First, we got back from our vacation yesterday and it was a blissful two weeks. Two weeks of no doctors, no chemo, but two weeks of family time. My parents took my whole family to Hawaii and we are so grateful. Silas played with his cousins, we went on adventures and we made memories.

Our trip to Cleveland Clinic was good and we had great advice. Cleveland Clinic and MD Anderson had the same opinion about not doing the HAI Pump that MSK suggested.

While we were on vacation we did get a call from MD Anderson and they feel that his liver is resectable in 1 operation. This means we will be going back to MD Anderson this month for more testing and more doctor appointments and more discussion. This is, of course, pending more testing.

We are praying that this new chemo has worked and shrunk the tumors substantially. He has tolerated the new chemo, FOLFIRI, well and we go back in for another infusion tomorrow.
