Friday afternoon he was discharged 9-10-23

Thursday afternoon I took Silas to visit Zach, which was so good for his spirits.

We were discharged to the hotel Friday afternoon. 4pm and he was rolled away in a plastic wheelchair.

It felt so good to be back in place free of interruptions and beeping machines.

His pain is under control with regular pain medicine so no narcotics needed, which is great.

We go back for his blood draw and follow up with the surgeon on Thursday and will talk through the next steps then.

We are taking it one day at a time.
