Back at MSK tomorrow 2-1-23

We will be back at MSK tomorrow for another follow-up with his colon surgeon, as his incision isn't completely healed.

We also met with the oncology team at the cancer institute here in Avon, where he will be getting his chemo, and the nurse practitioner was very kind. She went over all the side effects of the chemo regimen he will be on, which is FOLFOX. It's the run-of-the-mill chemo regimen for advanced colon cancer.

We asked questions, and now we are waiting for the surgeon's green light on when she thinks Zach should start chemo.

Zach has settled on a manageable and healthy diet.

He decided to start juicing - vegetable juicing, that is. That means we have a TON of veggie pulp that we would love to go to a good home. So if you know someone who gardens and has worms (worm poop is fantastic fertilizer if you didn't know) for their garden or someone who has chickens, we would love to give the pulp to a good home instead of it in the trash. All organic, of course, only the best for your worms and chickens.
